Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula lotion REVIEW

Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula lotion REVIEW

So I have eczema on my hands and my daughter was getting it on and off on her arms and legs, probably not helped by the super dry winter environment we live in. Of course I am trying to stay away from steroid creams because I don’t really want my skin to be dependent on steroids to be healthy looking! I did a lot of digging and have tried a few different lotions, both on myself and my daughter.

This one is my favourite right now:

Babo Botanicals Oatmilk Calendula lotion

Babo Botanicals is an American company, and I’m really liking the Oatmilk Calendula line (we have also been using the Bubble Bath & Wash). This lotion has a nice fresh scent that isn’t overpowering, goes on nice and easy (doesn’t clump up and separate like some natural lotions do), and is perfect for infants, kids, and adults. My daughter’s eczema has been mostly controlled by using this lotion after her bath, and alternating with regular old organic virgin coconut oil.

I have also used this as a face lotion for myself, as it’s very gentle and soothing. It really is a multi-purpose lotion.

I have been using the Miracle Moisturizing Cream as my daily face cream and I adore it! I’ll add a little bit of Frankincense essential oil for some extra support for my skin.

What’s your favourite lotion for dry skin issues?
