DIY Outdoor Spray with Essential Oils

DIY Outdoor Spray with essential oils juicygreenmom

I love spending time outside in my garden during the spring and summer months. What I don’t love is getting eaten alive. Thankfully after some experimentation, I’ve settled on a great DIY outdoor spray with essential oils that allows me to enjoy the outdoors annoyance-free!

DIY Outdoor Spray with Essential Oils

1. Add the essential oils to the bottle.
2. Top off with witch hazel.
3. Shake before spraying.

Young Living’s Purification blend contains lemongrass, rosemary, melaleuca alternifolia, myrtle, and citronella. Powerful stuff! The R.C. blend contains eucalyptus (E. globulus, E. radiata,E. citriodora), myrtle, spruce, peppermint, pine, lavender, marjoram, and cypress. Eucalyptus Citriodora (Lemon Eucalyptus) in particular has been shown to be as effective as DEET.

I love that this DIY outdoor spray doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals, so I’m not worried about using it on my whole family.

Will you try making this DIY outdoor spray with essential oils?
