REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Libre Naturals Oatmeal Cups & Granola Bars
Recently I had the opportunity to sample some gluten-free instant oatmeal cups from Libre Naturals. I loved it so much, I got in contact with them to do a review and giveaway!
Oatmeal cups are perfect for a quick breakfast – just pour in hot water , pop the lid on for a few minutes and you have a delicious 300 calorie breakfast! They are gluten-free so you don’t need to worry about any wheat or gluten contamination. There are 5 flavours of oatmeal available:
- An Apple a Day (apple cinnamon)
- Blue Eyed Berry (blueberry cranberry)
- South Side (sunflower seeds, raisins, cranberries)
- Good Morning Sunshine (blueberry apple cinnamon)
- Trick and Such a Treat (raisins & pumpkin seeds)
I really enjoyed all the flavours, though Good Morning Sunshine and Blue Eyed Berry were probably my favourites because I love berries. They were great to have at work when I didn’t have time for breakfast beforehand (and my co-workers were all envious of what I had!). I must confess that I also really like them for an afternoon snack!
Allergy friendly granola bars are produced in a dedicated facility free of the most common food allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, egg, soy, wheat, sesame, shellfish, fish, and mustard). They also contain no preservatives, colours, artificial flavours or genetically modified ingredients. Celiac friendly and allergy friendly – perfect for kids to take to school! What I really like about these granola bars is that they are not excessively sweet. They are just sweet enough to satisfy a sweet craving, but not so sweet that I feel like I have to drink a ton of water afterwards. My favourite is probably the double chocolate chip because I LOVE chocolate, and it was a great boost of chocolate taste without too much added sugar. I did enjoy all 4 flavours though.
- chocolate chip
- double chocolate chip
- apple cinnamon
I was also really impressed with the service I got from Libre Naturals. When my order was delivered from my purchase through Ethical Deal, I had received 12 oatmeal cups in 1 box. However, something very heavy must have been placed on top of my box during transport, because when I opened it, the top 6 oatmeal cups had been pressed through the lids of the bottom cups. Which meant quite a large mess of oatmeal in the box and not a lot in cups! I emailed Libre Naturals about the issue and they responded right away and sent me replacement cups. I was extremely happy with the speed and the quality of the service, which is definitely not the norm out there. (How many of you have been frustrated with ongoing customer service issues??) So not only does Libre Naturals have awesome gluten-free allergy-friendly foods, they also have exceptional customer service.
And… they are offering up a GIVEAWAY package to 1 lucky Canadian reader! The winner will receive everything in the photo: 1 of each of the 5 flavours of oatmeal cups, and 1 of each of the 4 flavours of granola bars. Woohoo!
